The Colonel Roger Brown House is an historic house at 1694 Main Street in Concord, Massachusetts. It is a 2-1/2 story wood frame structure, five bays wide, with a side gable roof, large central chimney, and clapboard siding. It is believed to be the oldest surviving house in West Concord.〔 ==History== The oldest portion of the house dates to about 1708, with a significant enlargemnt in 1775 by Roger Brown.〔(【引用サイトリンク】title=MACRIS inventory record for Colonel Roger Brown House )〕 During its construction, Brown was called to serve in the battles of Lexington and Concord. The house was renovated in 1889 and added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1983.
